Bronco debuted in August 1965. The car was offered in versions of the wagon, semi-cab and roadster (the latter was not popular and was discontinued in 1968). It was a practical vehicle, fairly simple configuration, without any frills, but at the same time highly adaptable to various kinds of activities. Bronco was equipped with a 107-horsepower 6-cylinder engine with a three-speed manual gearbox. The machine was not even in the options. In 1966, 18,200 cars were sold.
In the following years, the model was improved. In 1970, the Sport package became standard. In 1971, 18,700 cars rolled off the assembly line. At this time, Bronco has decent competitors in the car market, and in order to keep the car afloat, it is undergoing modernization.
