Toyota Alphard is a luxury minivan, first released for the Japanese domestic market in 2002. The first generation of the car was equipped with two petrol engines, with a capacity of 159 and 220 hp, and two gearboxes: first 4-speed, and after restyling in 2005, 5-speed automatic transmission. In addition, there were modifications to the front and all-wheel drive. The second-generation Toyota Alphard has been produced since 2008 in Japan and is sold in some Asian countries in addition to the local market. In 2011, official sales of the minivan began in Russia.
