The Symbol is a front-wheel compact sedan built on the basis of the Renault Clio hatchback. In 2002, the Renault Symbol Clio underwent a serious restyling and lost the prefix “Clio”. The car has acquired an updated front with triangular headlights, new trim materials, a modified dashboard and bumpers painted in body color. Production was established in Turkey, and although the Renault Symbol of Turkish production echoes the Clio produced in France, this car turned out to be simpler, cheaper, and without special claims.
