Rezzo minivans were first introduced at the 2001 Geneva Motor Show. The Tacuma / Sport / Style concept (created in the Pininfarina studio), first shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1999, served as the prototype for the creation of this model. Rezzo has a very interesting and stylish look. The design of the car is slightly different from the class counterparts. Mainly due to the low fit of the floor, while many minivans have a niche between the bottom and the floor of the cabin for the engine, gearbox and luggage. Here, all units brought forward cabin.
The Daewoo Rezzo can easily accommodate 5 people, thanks to a fairly large wheelbase (2600 mm.). The line of power units is represented by two quite powerful gasoline engines of 1.8 and 2.0 liters. The last 4-cylinder 16-valve develops a power of 126 horsepower. With him, Rezzo accelerates to 100 kilometers per hour (60 miles per hour) in 10.8 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 180 kilometers per hour.
The standard package includes a 5-speed manual gearbox (optionally installed and automatic transmission). The car received 15-inch wheels, two airbags (for the driver and front passenger), built-in door amplifiers in case of side impact and ABS. In the spring of 2004, sales of an upgraded version of Rezzo began in Europe. The updated car features a modified front design: a new grille with a horizontal chrome strip, transparent headlight reflectors and new rear lights.
In addition, the interior has been updated - there are two new trim options, and as an option, it is now proposed to finish the panels "under the tree" and natural leather. On top versions (SX and CDX), Rezzo is equipped with separate climate control. Rear seats - three separate folding seats with individual adjustments. In the five-seater version of the trunk volume is 347 liters, while with the rear seats folded - 1847 liters.
At the 2004 Rezzo install upgraded engines that meet Euro III standards. Korean versions are equipped with a 2.0 liter R4 8V engine (95 hp) running on liquefied gas, or a gasoline 16-valve unit (128 hp). The choice of KP traditional - 5-step "mechanics" or 4-step "automatic".
