From 1993 to 1995, Concours was fitted with Northstar 4K DOHC V8 4,564-liter naturally aspirated engines with a power of 270 hp. The front suspension on the Concours was installed on McFerson systems with coil springs. Rear - with pneumatic elements and coil springs, automatically adapting to the speed of the car and the condition of the road surface, ensured an exceptionally smooth ride.

The steering was supplied with power steering. The minimum turning radius was 6.2 m. The brakes and the front and rear were disc, while the front were ventilated. Active safety system included ABS; in 1997, DeVille Concours began to install the exclusive StabiliTrack anti-skid system. Passive safety was maintained by seat belts for all passengers (adjustable in height on the front seats), two airbags: driver and passenger (since December 1998 - side PB), as well as stiffeners in the doors. Standard tire size is P225 / 60R16 97S.

According to the test results of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration NHTSA in 1999, DeVille Concours received four points in crash tests for frontal and side impacts.
