The Audi A5 Sportback has the same engines as the coupe A5. The two-liter 2.0 TFSI petrol (180 and 211 hp), the “six” 3.2 FSI (265 hp) and the budget 1.8 (160 hp). In Europe, three turbo diesel engines (2.0, V6 2.7 and V6 3.0) are available (170-240 hp). The selection of gearboxes includes the S-tronic “robot”, a six-step “mechanics” and a stepless variator.
